Let’s go on a Ski Safari” … this is pure excitement! Explore the most famous and best skiing areas in the Alps. Easy slopes for beginners as well as glorious powder runs for intermediate and advanced will be offered in the Tiroler Oberland.
The area provides 1000 kilometers of ski slopes, exactly the right thing for everyone. Choose between the best ski resorts of the Alps:
St. Anton-Zürs-Lech-Warth on the Arlberg, Area Fiss-Ladis-Serfaus, Area Ischgl – Samnaun are very close by to Landeck!
Best snow conditions are guaranteed skiing till the end of April !
There are also numerous activities off the slopes: torchlight walks, sleigh rides or snow walking!
The most beautiful ski areas are lined up and can be reached on developed and ploughed roads in 15 to 20 minutes:

On this one trip you can ski three of the most popular areas in two areas of Austria – Tirol and Voralberg. We’ve
- Picked a centrally located hotel in downtown Landeck, a moderately sized city with plenty of nightlife.
- Our plan is to ski Ischgl on Saturday (returning somewhat later to allow skiers to enjoy the famous ISchgl Apres Ski), Serfaus on Sunday, and St. Anton on Monday (thus shortening the return bus ride).
- Our Patch bus will take you to the slopes and back each day. From Ischgl you can ski into Switzerland, the slopes of Serfaus are usually less crowded than nearby areas, and the normally very sunny slopes of St, Anton will put some color in your checks.
Local Skiing Area
Venetregion – our House Skiing Area
Besides the Ski Safari and the Ski6 offer with the skiing regions Serfaus/ Fiss/ Ladis, Nauders, Kaunertaler Glacier, Fendels, you may also try the Venet Region, which is our “House Skiing Region” just 1 km away from the hotel. The skiing region VENET (780 m – 2.212 m) offers more than 22 km well-maintained ski slopes. For beginners as well as professionals we recommend the beautiful south side with its short slopes and smooth plateaus leading to Fliess. The steeper, demanding and snow-reliable north side is perfect for free carvers.
St. Anton am Arlberg Aprés Ski
One doesn’t want to over use the word ‘legendary’ but the Krazy Kangaruh bar on the slopes directly above the resort again falls in to that category and has spawned many other Krazy… bars in top ski resorts around the Alps. Today the Kangaruh is challenged and some say beaten by the equally packed-out Mooserwirt. Both are the meeting points for the returning exuberant skiers and ‘boarders at the end of the day. But no one wants it to stop there, and fortunately it doesn’t have to, as the resort is choc full of lively bars and discothèques that are usually buzzing right through until 3am closing.Of course it is possible to have a quieter evening in a sophisticated cocktail bar such as Platz’l Après or the St Antoner Hof’s bar.
Ischgl Aprés Ski
Ischgl has a very lively nightlife reminiscent of its neighbour St Anton. There is the same cosmopolitan mix of international guests although the over-riding theme is more Germanic here, compared to the strong British presence of St Anton. More than a dozen bars are lively as soon as the lifts close and more than thirty are on offer once the evening is in full swing. Slopeside open air socialising is possible at a number of venues, notably the Marends at the hotel Elizabeth and the ski-in Schatzi Bar at the foot of the main home run.The large and rustic Kuhstall at the Sporthotel Silvretta receives rave reviews (“best apres-ski in Ischgl” and “fantastic atmosphere”). Across the road is Feuer & Eis, which has a DJ. Meanwhile, the two-storey Trofana Alm next to the five-star Hotel Trofana Royal, is full to bursting almost every evening before dinner and spectacularly good-natured. There’s also the Sonne where there’s often live music and for country and western, it’s the Buffalo in the Hotel Grillam. Other popular places throughout the evening include the Allegra American Bar in the hotel Tscla, the Guxa cocktail bar and Niki’s Stadl in the Piz Buin hotel; there are many more. The three discothèques are the Club Après in the Hotel Central, Feuer and Eis (Fire and Ice) and Madlein Wunderbar.
There are umbrella bars at the base station in Serfaus. In Fiss, you can go to the Hexenalm and in Ladis to the Weiberkessl. It depends on the season, but in high season, there is plenty of fun until late at night.
