Introduction:
My name is Jim Murtha, and I am privileged to
serve as the Vice President of the Patch Ski
Club.
Background:
My family and I are pleased to be back in Stuttgart
for a second “tour of duty”. This is our 5th year of
membership in the club, and my third time
serving on the Board of Directors. On the slopes I’
ll be the one in the middle of the Murtha clan as
we carve our way down the piste. My two sons
(Sean and Stephen) lead the way on their
snowboards, my wife Diane takes up the rear
guard position, and I just try to keep track of
where we are on the mountain.
Goals:
My primary goal is to make the Patch Ski Club a
fun and viable organization for all ages and
interests. I’ve made many great friends through
the club over the past years, and look forward to
making many more in the future. I fill in for the
President in his absence, and assist other Board
members in fulfilling their responsibilities. I’m
looking forward to a great ski and snowboard
season, and hope to meet everyone at a meeting
or on the hill.
